Professional Soil Testing
Any successful farmer can tell you - land and seed aren’t nearly enough, if your soil is out of balance. Entire planting seasons are often won or lost on the issue of soil structure, or “tilth”, and its nutrients and availability at particular pH levels. Depending on your crop’s particular needs, your deep understanding of your soil and its relationship to your crops can make or break your career as a budding urban regenerative Micro-Farmer.
As regenerative Micro-Farmers ourselves, we use and offer professional lab-based soil testing services, in order to sidestep the potential inaccuracies of home test kits and handheld electronic units. When you ask us for a soil test, we will personally arrive to your land, walk your grounds with you, and hand-sample for you. Renova Sustainable Agriculture sends, receives and documents your professional lab results in our database, and offers recommendations for amendments and cover crops suited to your specific, particular needs.
